Our first time visiting Southbrook and it was an amazing time. George took really great care of us and thoroughly explained each wine to us. He made our experience unforgettable and we will never forget his kindness. I highly recommend adding Southbrook to your itinerary when visiting Niagara Wine Country.

Had an amazing time and tried some fabulous wines. Possibly even more importantly, I also learned about what organic wine looks like and regenerative gardening. Such a unique place and I wish more wineries would look at them as an inspiring example.

Wow I was very impressed with this winery. First time here what a beautiful atmosphere, amazing and wonderful staff who were very helpful and friendly. The food and drinks were very good. The best part of the night was the music. We heard J.J. Perry OMG!! This guy can really sing and play a variety of musical intruments. He was just a wonderful performer who knows how to entertain and make everyone laugh. I just loved his music. I would definetly come again to see him perform.

Fun place for tasting biodynamic wines. The wines are good, and I highly recommend adding a pizza to your tasting! Large covered patio, perfect for hanging out! Dog friendly place!

My sister and I came to this winery because of the regenerative organic farming. The wine and service was amazing, George was very knowledgeable on the farming of the vineyard as well as the wine we were served! The outdoor seating area is surrounded by the vineyard making it a peaceful, relaxing experience. I would highly recommend this winery!

We had a great first-time-for-us visit yesterday at Southbrook Organic Vineyards. The wines we tasted were all delicious. Our server, Cynthia, made the experience top-notched. She is very knowledgeable about the wines, and guided us smoothly through our tasting. Southbrook is one of the few wineries in the area producing Orange wines. That has nothing to do with oranges- it’s a wine made from white grapes that has had skin contact in the wine making process. It’s a bit of a different taste and texture from a white wine, and I hope that you give it a try. I enjoyed my taste of it. Another highlight of this winery is that they only use grapes from their own certified organic vineyard, or from other certified organic growers in the region. Now maybe you think that is some reason to shy away from it, but the opposite is true. Avoidance of pesticides and commercial fertilizers in the vineyard requires more effort and vigilance, and the result is wines that are clean, fresh, and yummy!

Update July 2026: We stopped at Southbrook again this year and it was just as great as last year. George guided us through a wonderful tasting experience on an early Sunday afternoon visit. The wines are delicious and crisp, something that totally supports their emphasis on biodynamic farming. We especially enjoyed the Triomphe Cabernet franc rose. Don’t miss it!

Such an amazing experience. George was the best host! He was fun, knowledgeable and engaging! The wines were incredible. The pizzas were also delicious. It was fantastic to have George give us the story of the winery, the wines, and the team behind it. He's a gem! We had an outstanding experience at Southbrook. We had been meaning to visit for years and we are sad that we delayed because it was fabulous! My husband and I first visited on a Saturday where Jesse took care of us. He explained the concept behind Southbrook- organic winery, what biodynamic really meant. It was facinating. He led us through our tastings and even gave us a list of other places he would reccomend we should investigate among NOTL and the bench. The wines were fantastic- we shared their Patio Favorites and Estate Biodynamic Flights. Each wine had great character. The Whites were refeshing with excellent body. The Reds had attitude and character. The mushroom pizza was a star and complemented everything we tasted. During our tasting we learned that they are dog friendly, so Sunday we came back for lunch with our Cane Corso. My husband enjoyed the summer Discoverly Flight and I had a glass of their Gamay. George took excellent care of us. He has been here for 14 years and shared his knowledge of Southbrook and the grapes. He was so kind to us and our pup. We had the mushroom pizza (again!) And the asparagus pizza- both phenomenal. We are so in love with this place and can't wait to come back!

As far as I’m concerned, this is one of the top wineries in the region. Our wine guide, George, walked us through an immersive experience, learning more about the ins and outs of organic, biodynamic wine making. I could not recommend Southbrook enough!

This is one of my favorite wineries in the region. The service is excellent and they also make pizzas on their patio if you need to multitask wine tasting and lunch. This year I particularly enjoyed their Estate Series wines: Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The Triomphe Sparkling Rose Anniversary and Triomphe Orange Wines are other standouts for me. The friendly staff are passionate about wine, explain the biodynamic and organic cultivation processes, and give great recommendations for food in the region.

Had a wonderful experience at Southbrook Vineyard. I really appreciate their commitment to organic and sustainable winemaking, which makes the experience feel even more special. The wines were excellent, with the Orange Wine and Petite Verdot being particular standouts.

A lovely touch was being welcomed with a complimentary glass of rosé to start the tasting. The staff were warm and knowledgeable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring Niagara wine country.

Had one my best winery experiences at South-Brook. Loved the ambience and the quick bites too! Special thanks to Fabienne and Mehak, for such warm welcome and professionalism.

Nice, laid back winery with organic and thoughtfully produced wines. The families are very nice inside with lots of seating around inside and out. The tasting was an open, choose the wines you want to try tasting...and you can choose from the vineyards you want to try. They also have orange wine if you are into that. Service was friendly. Seemed pretty easy for walk in on a weekend when we were there...not as stuffy as some of the other places we went. Would definitely go back.

I recently visited Southbrook Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! The wine was exceptional—each tasting was beautifully balanced and full of character.
