Medium salmon colour, and aromas of ripe strawberry, sweet herbs and cedar, suggest a more serious style of rosé. Dry, medium bodied and a touch of supporting tannins continue the impression, with strawberry and tart cherry flavours given length by the herbal nuance.
The Small Lot wine was made from a blend of 3 barrels of selected cabernet grapes. Handpicked from our biodynamic vineyard, sorted rigorously before stemming and soaking for 14 hours before gentle pressing, cool settling and fermentation by indigenous yeast in barrels. Natural cold stabilizing and a light fining before sterile filtration and bottling.
