Triomphe is the expression of carefully tended vines, gently guided into superior wine.
Triomphe is the mainstay of Southbrook’s six wine families. The name is derived from the Latin triomphus, the legendary song of praise to Bacchus, god of wine in Greek mythology. Triomphe wines are the perfect match for enchanted evenings of candlelight and romance. You’ll also find they go very well with a table of friends.
Aging Gracefully
We’ve made it our business to continuously showcase the Niagara area’s ability to produce ageable wines like Triomphe — for this is the true mark of a significant wine region. To see this through in our own backyard, we manage our inventory, putting wines away for later re-release, so that aged wines can be tasted and purchased by all our visitors.
Line Them Up, Decide What You Like
We offer a tasting of young and older vintages of Triomphe Chardonnay or Cabernet Merlot side by side by side. This lets you taste and discover the amazing differences age can make. If you haven’t had the luxury of collecting for 10 years, consider it done for you. We have several older vintages available for sale, so you can add richness to your cellar instantly.
