2010 Triomphe Chardonnay VQA Certified Organic & Biodynamic
SOLD OUT / 750ml (Ontario Price Shown)
Wine Lovers' Notes:
In the Glass
The warm growing conditions of 2010 gave us ripe characters early in the season. Find pear & apple notes on the nose and palate, followed by rich texture, almond and baked bread. Followed by bright acidity and a smooth finish.

90 points - "This has a lovely, ripe nose consistent with the warm 2010 season. Expect yellow pear-pineapple fruit, even a trace of raisin, nicely fitted with floral notes and background cream and butterscotch from the barrels. It is quite rich and rounded, but stays vibrant and even a bit delicate thanks to fresh, youthful acidity. The 13.5% alcohol gives it volume but there is no significant heat on the finish. Very good to excellent length". - David Lawrason, Vintages Magazine
"All estate organic-biodynamic fruit and aged in 100% French oak barrels of varying sizes. Very ripe pear, apple toast and spice notes on the nose. It's made in a round, expressive style with a nice mineral note to go with the light toast, subtle butterscotch and layered fruits through the finish. Nicely balanced Chard". - Rick VanSickle, Wines in Niagara
"Ann (Sperling's) Chardonnay is a reflection of the warmer appellation, with it's rich, soft texture and sweet caramel and baking spice flavour - a more new world style example that will appeal broadly". - John Szabo, WineAlign.com
