2010 Connect Rosé Food Recipe

Wine Lovers' Notes:

In the Glass

A fragrant nose of strawberry/rhubarb pie, fresh red raspberry, orange zest and brushed lavender. The palate delivers these same elements, with lively acidity for a refreshing finish.

Bronze Medal - 2011 Canadian Wine Awards

"More fun than a mouth should have! This fleshy-ripe robust rosé offers aromas of raspberries and summer strawberries. It's dry and jubilantly vibrant in the glass. Hurray! Food matches: grilled salmon or tuna, pork chops, salads".
- Natalie Maclean, NatDecants

"I've always thought that Ontario could make world-class rosé and in a couple of cases we do. Southbrook Connect Rose 2010 is not your run-of-the-mill pink wine at $18.95 a bottle. This one is deep pink with an orange tint. It has a nose of strawberry compote and flavours of strawberries and redcurrants. Full in the mouth with a touch of sweetness in mid-palate, it has enough citrus acidity to finish dry and clean. Serve it with chicken salad or grilled ham".
- Tony Aspler, 680 News Wine Reviews

"Colour: Deep pink with an orange tint. Nose: Fresh, minerally red berry fruit. Taste: Dry, crisp, red currant, orange flavours, good length. Drinkability: Now".
- Tony Aspler, WineryToHome.com
