Wine Lovers' Notes:
On the Bottle
featuring an excerpt from Your Wish is My Wish by Sarah Slean In my mind-storm I did carry you Through the briars of disbelief Through the woods of lethargy Through a groaning dark so deep I thought I died In the fountain I did cool our feet Under red and rainless skies Singing ragged lullabies Through the grief all advertised In neon lights Baby your wish is my wish And I have only this From now on Baby your wish is my wish Keep on running to the door I hear Beauty crying in her sleep So I bend for one more kiss All our tears will turn and twist We make bliss to end all bliss And all time Baby your wish is my wish And I have only this From now on Baby — your wish is my wish Keep on running to the dawn Running to the door... Keep on running to the dawn
In the Glass
A hot dry year resulting in very ripe characters. One of the best growing seasons on record. This Chardonnay has a beautiful nose of sweet almond and orange blossom which is echoed on the pallet with hints of ginger and caramelized pear. There is a an earthy limestone flavor on the finish. Drink now to 2016.
In Print
"Aromas of fresh fruit salad and vanilla ice cream dominate along with evidence of well-integrated oak. This wine is well-balanced with good acidity and butterscotch on the long finish". - Sarah Goddard, Sommelier Scribbler

Sarah Slean
Sarah Slean’s passionate voice and cabaret style draw inevitable comparisons to the legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf, but the multi-talented Toronto singer-songwriter is also an actress, a painter and a poet. Slean has two Juno award nominations, two Gemini award nominations and recently released her fifth full-length album, The Baroness, inspired by a temporary relocation to Paris. She describes her time in the City of Lights as “poetica.” Her apartment was so tiny, she says, she could touch her bed, her small white piano and her kitchen table — at the same time. “All that experience is writing itself in your soul,” says Slean.
